Sole Print Urns
These pieces are stoneware textured lidded vessels - inspired by footprints and marks seen in the sands of a local beach. The pieces reflect the ever changing patterns as the tide cleanses away the marks of the day and the cycle continues.
Construction
These are individual textured stretched forms, created by throwing clay on the wheel. Each piece has a matching lid with a Raku glazed bead, held in place with a fine leather thong. The lids are also created by throwing on the wheel. The entire piece is then finished with a barium glaze.
